Greetings to my Mississippi "sun" sisters!

I am smiling as I recall my creative pajama pals! We did have a fun party for sure! I felt like Paula Abdul sitting at the judge's table. I have heard of good group participation but that was over the top - that was full group participation! I have bragged on you all to many of my friends and family here. Thanks for allowing me to share my "Once Upon a Time Story"!
I shared with Julie that I knew in my spirit before I even came that God was going to do a good work among us. And after getting to know you, I can see how and why He could - you had hearts that were open and seeking Him. Thanks for allowing me to be a "part" of you all.
I have loved hearing from you via email and Facebook. Feel free to share with me!
Now as I promised, here is the only recipe every requested from me in the whole wide world:
Chicken Salad Recipe:
Generally, for a group of 12, I purchase 8 large split chicken breasts (bone in). Clean and wash well, cutting away most of the fatty skin. After filling large pot with water, add 2 chicken bouillon cubes, plus 1/4 cup of cooking oil. Boil for 45 minutes. Turn off, cover pot, and allow chicken to sit and soak for 1 - 2 hours before boning. Debone chicken in extra large bowl. Add a quart of mayonnaise. Peel and cut into small chunks approx. 6 Braeburn apples, mixing them with the mayo to avoid turning. Wash and drain approx. 2 pounds of whole red grapes. You can use green but I believe the red ones are sweeter. Add salt and pepper to taste as you stir the mixture. Mix very well, breaking apart any chicken chunks. This salad is better served when chilled first. I always make enough for my son's family and have enough to share with friends. This dish may be served on lettuce surrounded by fruit, or on croissants as sandwich and chips.
May God bless every person who is served this chicken salad from your hands.
Again, let me say that I will not forget our weekend together and may God bless you richly as you surrender to become His slave!
love, margaret
